Promotional video made for Panda Society. The entire video was taken from research and concepting to finalized renders and compositing in just 5 weeks. My role as Technical Director meant I was in charge of most technical aspects of the project, like rigging, tool development, pipeline R&D and management, documentation, hardware requirements, etc. However due to our small team size and limited time, I also dabbled into other areas of the pipeline, meaning I made most of the animations, and I was part of the rendering and lighting too.
It was fun and challenging to tackle the problems that lie in working with two DCC programs, Maya and Blender, and trying to get a project to fit through such a pipeline, but I believe we got an amazing product out in the end.
